Thrive Culinary Algae Oil Tryazon Party & Review

I was graciously chosen to host a Tryazon Cooking Party featuring Thrive Culinary Algae Oil this past week. I had never heard of Thrive Algae Oil, but I love cooking and trying new things. Thrive boasts to be the “Best Oil for your Heart” and so I was excited to learn more about it with friends and get to host a party.

FUN FACT! The algae used to make Thrive Algae Oil is not harvested from the ocean. The algae originally came from the sap of a chestnut tree.

I decided to do a “Girls Night In” theme. It was so fun to cook together without kids, while enjoying an adult beverage. I had recipes and ingredients all out and prepped before my guests arrived and then we just started putting the meal together using Thrive in every course. We made a yummy dip for bread, salad dressing, sauteed asparagus, salmon and brownies!

What we learned: Thrive has a nice neutral flavor so it was the perfect oil to use to let the taste of our food shine through. It can be substituted for almost any oil in your recipes, plus it’s heart healthy! It is higher in good monounsaturated (Omega-9) fats that hold up at high heat (485) and lower in the not-so-good saturated fats. The simple switch to Thrive can help maintain heart health, healthy blood sugar levels, and blood pressure.

Plus, since it’s Earth Day, I need to mention that Thrive is better for our planet because it produces more oil per acre of land than any other oil, making it have a lower carbon and water footprint.

We had a lot of fun at our Girls Night and enjoyed everything we made using Thrive. I would definitely purchase this oil again. Thrive is available at Walmart and check out Ibotta for a money back coupon. Here is the first recipe that you need to try!

I received Thrive product and a Walmart giftcard for free from Tryazon to purchase food and host a cooking dinner party using Thrive oil. The goal was to sample and review the product with a group of people. All thoughts and opinions stated here are my own.
