The Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible Created By Joanna Rivard & Tim Penner

The Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible was created by Joanna Rivard and Tim Penner. It is published by Zonderkids. It is recommended for ages 4-8 and has approximately 224 pages and 33 important stories from scripture. The pages are brightly colored and heavily illustrated on every page. The characters are darker in skin tone than most illustrations in kids Bibles that I see. This is a refreshing reality that I WANT portrayed to my kids correctly.  The book has a nice sturdy hard cover with different Bible story characters that is fun and appealing.

Sometimes I struggle to find a Bible that is appealing to my kids in look, but that they can also read and understand. This is one of those Bibles. One that my younger kids will look through and ask questions about the fantastic, yet sometimes emotional pictures and one that my older kids can read and understand on their own. The stories are well written in appropriate language and length for kids.

My kids and I really like this illustrated bible and I’m so thankful to have a resource that shares tiny truths that lead my family to the biggest Truth of all! This book guides us to see who God is, who we are and what we are made for.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers <http://booklookbloggers.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
