The Cow Said Neigh! is a farm story written by New York Times bestseller Rory Feek and illustrated by Bruno Robert. It is a large thick board book published by Tommy Nelson. It has 26 pages and is written at about a 2nd grade reading level. Although published by Tommy Nelson, it doesn’t include any spiritual references or text. It is simply just a cute kids fiction book.
This book has nice colorful illustrations and is a fun comical story about farm animals who wish they were like other farm animals. The farm is in chaos. What will the farmer do when he sees and hears all of this? You’ll have to read the book to find out!
I love board books and this one felt especially sturdy and was larger than expected when I ordered it, making it even better for little hands. The text and story itself is written in a rhyming form that flows in a really cute manner. My kids enjoyed the book and so did I. It was short enough and funny enough to hold their attention. I would definitely recommend adding it to your board book collection.
