Easter Love Letters from God -Bible Stories by Glenys Nellist

Easter Love Letters from God was written by Glenys Nellist and illustrated by Sophie Allsopp. It is published by Zonderkidz. This is a large hard back book with a beautiful dust jacket (+ matching cover) and 32 pages. It is geared toward 4-8 year olds. The book has beautiful illustrations and interactive Love Letters that the child can lift up for you to read and write their name in to personalize it.

The stories take you through Palm Sunday to the resurrection (The Super Surprise)! Each story has a special Bible verse called Gods Wonderful Words that corresponds with it and also reiterates your personalized Love Letter from God and can be used as a memory verse. The pictures are very well done and attractive. I feel like they do a good job of conveying real emotions to talk about with your child that might have been experienced during this season.

I think this is a fantastic resource to use with your kids. It is very well done. It is simple and written in a way that is understandable for kids, yet still very deep and meaningful. It is a great way to personalize the season and stories through the letters from God. I also love that at the end, it gives your child a place to write a letter back to God, with your help of course. Overall, I think this is a great book! I would definitely recommend putting it in the Easter basket this year or asking Grandma and Grandpa for it.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
