Indescribable – 100 Devotions About God & Science by Louie Giglio

“The heavens tell the glory of God. And the skies announce what his hands have made.” -Psalm 19:1

Indescribable – 100 Devotions About God & Science was written by Louie Giglio (with Tama Fortner) and illustrated by Nicola Anderson. The book is published by Tommy Nelson, has a nice sturdy cover and 207 pages (100 devotions) of fun colored illustrations, real life pictures and text.indes

God is indescribable and so is His creation. This book is filled with child appropriate devotions that allow them to discover the wonders of the universe and how creative the “Creator” is. It takes a deeper look into some of fun subjects that surround us: space, our Earth, geology, weather, animals, our minds and bodies.

Each devotion starts with a scripture verse then goes into the short devotion, it also has a “Be Amazed” section that shares fascinating facts and a closing prayer that helps the child tie everything together. If you have a young science lover, this is such a great book! The devotions are short, but so interesting and fun! I enjoy them as an adult and it makes learning about God’s creation and ourselves so exciting! The language teaches, asks questions that challenge the imagination and reveals God all around us. I would definitely recommend this devotional! It is very well written and available on Amazon (HERE) for less than $10. I will be wrapping this one up for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas!
