For Mother’s Day, we went to my wonderful in-laws house for the weekend. It was relaxing with a morning to sleep in, flowers, yummy food and a gift certificate for a spa day! Now that my weekend is over, I’m starting to plan for the wonderful father’s in my life. Father’s Day will be here before we know it. Don’t forget! This year it is Sunday, June 18th.
Sometimes shopping for Father’s Day is really hard, but when I started flipping through the UncommonGoods website, I found item after item that was unique, fun and perfect for someone in my life- father, father-in-law, husband, brother or son…..like this BEAUTIFUL hand crafted Trail Wood Watch!!It deserves all the heart eyes because it is crafted from reclaimed African rosewood and dark sandalwood. The wood is nice and smooth to the touch. It moves well and comes with a tool to take off or add links as you need. It arrived in a cool box with a wood top and is very expensive looking. My husband appreciated the sleek rustic modern take to such a classic men’s accessory. It was a perfect gift for him this year because it also happens to be our 10 year anniversary! This is a special piece that I can see being passed on to one of our sons someday. But if this watch is not your style, check out all of these other unique gifts. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
For the Traveler
These Cork Globes and Scratch Map are a fun way to keep track of and show off where you’ve been. They also make fun conversation pieces! I can see these being an awesome gift for a graduate.
For the Beer Enthusiast
My husband has always talked about making his own beer and he still has never done it. This Beer Brewing Kit would give you the tools to actually make your own beer. They also have a wine making kit. How fun is that? Thr Beer Pop Chart is an infograph of brew history, graphic design and spirited fun.
For the Sports Fan
The Ticket Stub book would be a great gift given along side an actual ticket to a sports event or concert. What about this awesome Baseball Stadium Blueprint? They have all your favorite stadiums, including Kauffman (Go Royals!). They also have blueprints for ski resorts, football stadiums, basketball arenas and dogs and cat breeds too!
For the Well Groomed
Dad will be comfy and stylish in this Blue Hand Block Print Robe. They have several unique designs to choose from. Does dad have facial hair? I love the look of this Beard Pack natural facial hair care set!
For the Foodie and Drinkie (Drinker? Drunk? Beverage Lover?)
We just received a Himilayan Salt BBQ Plank for Christmas. It can withstand high temperatures on the grill or stove to enhance the flavor of whatever you choose to cook on it. The 2 pint 14th Century Beer Stein (or coffee mug) is crafted in the tradition of Medieval French pottery, but proudly made in the USA.
For the Family Man
Order a unique print that represents your family to hang on the wall for years of enjoyment. You can personally customize the details of each member, even the pets! This What I Love About Dad book is a neat way to honor your dad or your children’s dad with special memories personalized to him.
For the Outdoorsman
I saw this Solitary Bee Hive and thought it was so cool and a great deal for only $35! And every dad needs a hammock to relax in. Purchasing this Do Good Cotton Hammock helps support the indigenous Mlabri people in northern Thailand who made it!
For the Love of Art
This Bicycle Encyclopedia Print is a great gift for someone who loves vintage modern art or for the cyclist. The Glass Water Faucet is a fun sculpture that stands up to create a neat optical illusion.
One of the things that I loved most about this website is that every unique item features the maker and where it comes from. UncommonGoods makes it their mission to help support artists and designers, paying them well. Many of their products are made by hand in the United States and they use a variety of recycled or upcycled materials. These are just a few reasons that I feel good buying my unique gifts from them.
Make sure to check out their website or connect with them on social media for more unique gift ideas for men. Happy Shopping!!
I received an item for free in exchange for an honest review, but all thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
