Kids Eat Free (or Cheap*) near Kansas City

We are a family of 6 and it’s fun to eat out occasionally, but it gets expensive with all the kids, especially when they like different things. When we do eat out, it is usually because we have a coupon or discount somewhere, so I thought I would compile a list of places that have meal deals for kids that we can refer to. Let me know if you have any to add or any that no longer honor the deal I have listed. These offers could change at any time, so calling ahead to make sure it is still valid is a good idea.

Sunday:

Blue Moose Mountain Grill- Kid’s 12 & under eat free with the adult meal purchase (4-6pm).

IHOP (Grandview)- Kids Eat Free Every Day from 4-9pm. One Free Kids Meal with each adult entree purchased from the regular menu.

Johnny’s Tavern- Free kid’s meal for every adult entree purchased (5-8pm).

Marv’s Delicatessen- One free kid’s meal for each adult meal purchase.

Moe’s Southwest Grill- From 5-8pm kids eat free with adult meal purchase.

The Melting Pot- Kid’s 12 & under eat free with the purchase of 2 adult 4-course dinners.

Pie 5-Free kids pizza with purchase of adult meal.

*Rancho Grande Cantina- Kid’s meals are 1/2 off.

Talk of the Town Grill & Bar- One free kid’s meal per adult meal purchase.

Tomfooleries- Brunch (9:30-2pm) Kid’s 6 & under eat free w/ adult meal purchase.

Westport Flea Market Bar & Grill- Kid’s eat free with an adult purchase.

Monday:

*bd’s Mongolian Grill- Kid’s 11 & under eat & drink for $2 with adult meal purchase.

*Buffalo Wild Wings- Kid’s Meals are $1.99 w/ adult entree purchased. Dine in only.

Cinzetti’s- Kids 12 and under eat free. Two children per paying adult.

El Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant- Kid’s eat free with adult meal purchase.

Godfather’s Pizza- Free kid’s buffet for every adult entree purchased (5-8pm). Kids 10 & under.

IHOP (Grandview)- Kids Eat Free Every Day from 4-9pm. One Free Kids Meal with each adult entree purchased from the regular menu.

Minsky’s- Kid’s 12 & under get a mini cheese pizza with adult meal purchase.

Next Door Pizza- Up to 3 kids eat free kid-sized pizzas with the purchase of a large pizza.

Red Robin- Free kid’s meal for every adult entree purchased (5-8pm).

Ted’s Cafe Escondido- Free kid’s meal with every adult meal purchased.

V’s Italian Ristorante- Kid’s eat free after 4pm with adult entree purchase.

Tuesday:

Applebee’s- Free kid’s meal for every adult entree purchased (5-9pm). Varies by location.

Denny’s- Kid’s eat free from 4-10pm.

Cinzetti’s- Kids 12 and under eat free. Two children per paying adult.

Fazoli’s- 1 Adult Entrée = 3 Kids Meals @ 99¢ each (5-8pm)

Gambino’s Pizza- Kid’s 5 & under get a free buffet w/ each adult buffet purchase (5-8pm).

*Godfather’s Pizza- Evening buffet 5-7:30pm. Children up to 5 years is $1.99 and 6 to 10 years is $2.99.

HyVee Market Grill- Free Kid’s Meal w/ each adult meal purchase.

Pizza Street- Kids aged 4=9 eat free from 5pm-8pm.

Planet Sub- Free kid’s meal with every adult meal purchased. (After 4pm)

Salty Iguana- Free kid’s meal with every adult meal purchased.

*T-Rex Restaurant- From 4pm-close, kids meals are $2.99 with the purchase of an adult entrée.

 

Wednesday:

Dixon’s Chili- Free kid’s meal with every adult meal purchased.

The Fig Tree Cafe & Bakery- Free kid’s meal with every adult meal purchased. (6:30-8pm)

*The Other Place (Olathe only)- Kids meals are $1.59 for children 10 and under.

Steak ‘n Shake- One free kid’s plate for every $8 spent. Dine-in only.

Also, I have found that following your favorite restaurants on Facebook is very beneficial for finding out about special events or deals for local stores, especially Chick-fil-A, they do lots of free sandwich giveaway days. Sonic does a lot of discounted promotions too. Another way to save is to see if they have a phone app or e-mail/loyalty club. Have any other tips for saving money eating out? Share in the comments!
