Now I know what you may be thinking….Didn’t you just have a baby?! Yes, 5 months ago. And let me reassure you, I am not pregnant. Hahaha I’m just playing catch up. When I was pregnant with my oldest, Josephine (who is a hoot), I found a set of 4 cute vintage owls to paint and hang up on her wall. Well now we are a family of 5, so with a stroke of luck and my habit of thrifting whenever I get a free moment, I found a matching baby owl to add to her wall for our youngest, Stryker. This has been one of my favorite pieces in her room. It was so simple and yet makes such a cute and unique 3D wall display.
This is how all of the owls started out looking. Then I added a primer and paint and let dry. Super simple!
I walked out to my yard and found some fallen sticks that I was able to piece together in a cute little branch on the wall and then added the owls to sit on the branches. I attached everything with little straight pins, but use what works best for your wall and weight of objects. Here is our little owl family, complete with 5…..or so we think.
It’s amazing you found a matching one! So cute with the branch and really sweet!
