It's a Frozen Themed Party! (on a budget)

My beautiful daughter just turned 4 and of course she would want to have a Frozen party!  I am a SAHM on a budget so we got creative with some of our decorations and had a lot of fun!  You can search Pinterest and get a bunch of fun ideas, take what you think you can do and execute them or make them your own!  Here are a few of the things we did:

Frozen Invitations

Thankfully Christmas stuff is out at Dollar Tree right now so I found a 10pk. of these glittery foam snowflakes for $1.  We found this fun blue paper that folds together and glued the snowflake in the middle.  Then we wrote all the party info on each flap.  We gave some out by hand and mailed the rest.  **Note: If mailing in a square envelope, the USPS charges more than a regular postage stamp.  Also, I had snowflakes leftover that I taped to a white tablecloth on the wall for decoration behind the cake/present table.

Nothing fancy.  We had sandwiches (after the line in the movie: We finish each others sandwiches), lettuce & tomatoes (Sven’s reindeer food), potato chips, mandarin oranges, blue jello jiggler cubes (Kristoff’s Ice blocks), Carrots (Olaf’s nose) & Ranch (melted Olaf).  We didn’t have time to make the food tent name tags, which would’ve made a nice addition, but it worked.

Elsa Dress Pull Apart Cupcake Cake

Okay so it’s not perfect, my icing bag busted so I couldn’t create a pretty swirly design on the top, but it turned out okay.  It took 32 cupcakes and could really be used as a template for any princess dress.  The picture doesn’t show it well, but the dress also had silver sugar sprinkles all over it.

Elsa Frozen Fractal Ice Candy

Super easy, cheap and tastes like cotton candy.  Perfect for a party favor to hand out at the end.  You can find the directions HERE.

Pin the Carrot Nose on Olaf

There are sites online that have a printable version, but I took some construction paper and free handed it.  Close enough.

House Decor

Lots of white balloons (snow) and white crepe paper (ice), all from the dollar store.

There you have it!  We had fun and my daughter thought everything was great so that’s all that mattered.  Do you have a Frozen fan at home?  Are you team Elsa or Anna?
